Dr. John McKeon is CEO of Allergy Standards Ltd, an international standards and certification body, founded while he was working as an emergency room doctor. He developed an international intellectual property portfolio of patents and trade mark applications and negotiated complex licensing agreements with multinationals. John is an entrepreneur, a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, and holds his USA Medical Licensing exams. He is the Entrepreneur in Residence in the Faculty of Health Sciences in Trinity College Dublin. John is a member of the Institute of Directors and a speaker on innovation in Dublin University Business School in healthcare entrepreneurship.
SCS Global Services, Director of Sales and Marketing
Karen Righthand heads up sales and marketing for the Environmental Certification Services division of SCS Global Services. Prior to SCS, Karen was director of Global Communications for thinkstep (formerly PE International) an international sustainability software and consulting company. Prior to joining thinkstep, Karen held director and VP of Marketing positions at green building materials manufacturer Vetrazzo and clean tech start up CalStar where she distinguished both companies as sustainability leaders in their categories. Karen started her professional career as a licensed Medical Technologist with a focus in Immunology and Hematology. Her career beyond the hospital included teaching immunohematology and business development for Cooper Biomedical.
